Last night as Eric and I were eating out for the second time in one day I asked him, "do you think we could go a whole 7 days with out eating out?" I honestly do not think we could last. He would have to eat out when he's out of town for work and I thought I could give my self lunch with the girls on Wednesday but other than that no eating out together. No McDonald's breakfast, no picking up something for supper on the way home, two guilty pleasures I do a few times a week. We haven't decided if we are going to attempt this challenge because we both hate to loose. I know to some people this seems crazy to not be able to go one week with out eating out but for us it would be a real challenge. It would be good for my waistline and our wallet so tonight when Eric gets off work I guess we will decide if we are going to take on this challenge, I'll keep you posted!!!

Its the small things in life.
Its the small things in life that make me happy. I know Valentines Day is coming up and last year I posted how overrated I thought it was and I still believe the same way. However instead of writing about that again this year I thought instead I would write about the small things my honey does to show he loves me. See I think we shouldn't just wait until a holiday dedicated to love to show our love for the people who mean so much to us.
I love when Eric
- fills my car up with gas because he knows I hate it.
- helps me pack my lunch when I am running late in the morning, which is alot.
- unloads the dishwasher even when I didn't ask him to.
- eats Mexican food even though he is truly sick of it.
- changes his clothes 4 times in one day and leaves them on the chest at the end of the bed. I actually don't love that but it makes me laugh.
- knows Im having a bad day and just hugs me.
- understands how much my family means to me so loves their craziness.

Eric new obsession
I dont know if any of you have ever seen the NBC show Heros but it has taken over my husband. He started watching it on Netflix on a late night when he couldn't sleep and since then almost every hour of his time when he's not working or sleeping he is watching it. His schedule is weird so he usually has a few days off in a row throughout the week so it gives him ample time to watch 3 1/2 seasons in a short period of time. Sadly I have gotten into the season also but not to the level he is. Last night we were out and several times he would say things to reference to the show. Now let me remind you that this is a sci-fi show about people with special abilities so it was funny that he was making up stuff while we were out about people saying what their "ability" was. Even going as far as doing certain mannerisms like the villain in the series. I couldn't stop laughing nor could I stop going along with it because it was so funny. I think Eric is as crazy about Heros as I was about the Twilight Book series so I just have to laugh because he's never gotten caught up on something like this. We will see how the love affair continues since now he can only watch one episode a week now like all the other Hero lovers.

Happy Birthday Eric!
Today is my honey's birthday, so a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! This morning about 5 a.m. I woke up to use the little girls room and as I stumbled to the bathroom I thought I should go make Eric a big birthday breakfast before he goes to work at 7. I was thinking he would really like that, if only I was a better wife I would definitely go do that.....that thought was seconds before I fell in the toilet because my wonderful husband left the damn toilet seat up!!! After that I was like nope no birthday breakfast for him, my wet ass is going back to bed!!! I even forgot to give him his card before he left so now I am going to make him something good for dinner and bake an apple pie because he likes that better than cake.
Happy Birthday Eric! I'm glad you're finally the same age as me!

What's up with the sickness in the summer??
Only a couple of weeks ago Eric and I were sick with some nasty stomach flu and now Eric has an upper respiratory infection or at least thats what the Dr. at our Prompt Care Clinic says. His mouth is full of sores, so is his throat and his face is swollen because of his glands. I have heard of more people being sick this summer and its not right. Its summer we are supposed to be soaking up the sun, having fruity drinks, and hanging out with friends. Instead I am inside disinfecting anything Eric touches because I don't want any chance for this summer sickness to spread to me.Please no more summer sickness in our house we've had enough! Hope everyone else out there is avoiding this summer sickness going around.

I need to know these things
My husband has the worse habit of forgetting to tell me things that are really important. This particular case and point would be that one of our close friends/Eric's cousin-in-law's Grandma passed away on Sunday. I knew that she had been sick but had no idea that she had passed. Eric talks to his cousin almost everyday so I figured that he would tell me as soon as he found out. Well that was not the case. I found out today while cutting a family members hair! I was like "how is your Mother-in-law?" She very nicely said, "Bridget she passed away on Sunday." I felt like an ass and in my head was cussing Eric's name! This is the second time he has done this to me. The last time it was 3 weeks later and we were out to dinner with friends that I asked about their Grandmother and yep that's right she had sadly passed 3 weeks earlier. I guess I should start getting the newspaper so things like this don't happen anymore. However I have to ask myself why Eric can remember to tell me the smallest detail about something at work but things like this get put in the back of his mind? I think it's a guy thing. Sorry honey it had to blogged.
Charity, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Are you supposed to be sick in the Summer?
There should be some rule against being sick in the summer. Eric and I have been under the weather for 2 days now. We have had fever, upset stomachs, and absolutely no energy. Luckily we have both been off work so we haven't had to call in but it has been such a downer because its actually nice outside. I mean there is no snow on the ground, its not 2 degrees or anything its summer!!! Getting the flu sucks in the winter dont get me wrong but at least in the winter there is nothing better you can be doing besides laying inside with your honey. The bad thing about us both being sick is we are like, "who is going to take care of us?" As we start laughing about how spoiled we are. I hope I am feeling better tomorrow because I haven't left the house in 2 days and I will be ready to get out of here. Even though we were sick it was nice just to lay around and do nothing but I would much rather feel good because there was alot of stuff I didn't get done like I usually do on my day off.
